We are happy to share some insights about Acceldata drawn from our latest market research, Ventana Research Buyers Guide: Data Observability, which assesses how well vendors’ offerings meet buyers’ requirements.  

In all of our Buyers Guides, we utilize a structured research methodology called the Value Index that includes evaluation categories designed to reflect real-world criteria incorporated in a request for proposal (RFP) and vendor selection process. We evaluated Acceldata and six other vendors in seven categories, five relevant to the product (adaptability, capability, manageability, reliability and usability) and two related to the vendor (TCO/ROI and vendor validation).

Our analysis classified Acceldata as an Innovative vendor, receiving an overall grade of B+ with a 72.5% performance. Acceldata’s best grouped results came in Product Experience at 74.9% performance and B+ grade due in part to its A in Reliability. In Customer Experience, Acceldata received a B with a 63.5% performance due to its 69.2% performance in Validation. Acceldata was designated an Overall Leader as well as a Leader in Product Experience, Capability, Manageability, Reliability and Usability. Acceldata fully participated in the RFI process. 

Acceldata’s B+ grade in Product Experience was impacted by its B+ in Adaptability where it could improve process integration. Customer Experience was impacted by its B- in TCO/ROI where it could provide tools to helps customers calculate costs.  

Acceldata performed best in Product Experience with a B+ grade, notably in Reliability, where its A grade was due to its technology architecture and operations and scalability. In Usability, intelligence and user experience are strengths, earning Acceldata a B+ grade. Acceldata’s services and product roadmap led to its B+ in Validation.
