        About Buyers Guide Inclusion

        Product Briefing Period: Closed

For inclusion in the ISG Buyers Guide™ for AI Platforms in 2025, a software provider must be in good standing financially and ethically, have at least $25 million in annual or projected revenue verified using independent sources, sell products and provide support on at least two continents, and have at least 50 customers. The principal source of the relevant business unit’s revenue must be software-related, and there must have been at least one major software release in the last 12 months. The product(s) must be actively marketed as addressing the needs of the AI platform market.

AI Platforms serve a combination of traditional AI, Agentic and Generative AI and MLOps/LLMOps. As such, the Buyers Guide includes the full breadth of overall AI software provider in a single offering or a suite of products or cloud services. The overall AI Platform Buyers Guide includes evaluation of the requirements for supporting the enterprise needs in a platform and specialized requirements for ML & LLM Operations, and for Agentic and Generative AI.

For inclusion in the ISG Buyers Guide™ for AI Platforms in 2025, the software provider must enable these capabilities: data preparation, AI/ML/LLM modeling, AutoML, Generative AI, Agentic AI, developer and data scientist tooling, MLOps, advanced model deployment and optimization.

The research is designed to be independent of the specifics of software provider packaging and pricing. To represent the real-world environment in which businesses operate, we include providers that offer suites or packages of products that may include relevant individual modules or applications. If a software provider is actively marketing, selling and developing a product for the general market and it is reflected on the provider’s website that the product is within the scope of the research, that provider is automatically evaluated for inclusion.

All software providers that offer relevant AI platforms products and meet the inclusion requirements were invited to participate in the evaluation process at no cost to them.

Software providers that meet our inclusion criteria but do not completely participate in our Buyers Guide will be assessed solely on publicly available information. As this could have a significant impact on classification and ratings, we recommend additional scrutiny when evaluating those providers.

For inclusion in the ISG Buyers Guide™ for Machine Learning and Large Language Operations in 2025, a software provider must be in good standing financially and ethically, have at least $25 million in annual or projected revenue verified using independent sources, sell products and provide support on at least two continents, and have at least 50 customers. To be included in the Machine Learning and Large Language Operations Buyers Guide, the software provider must enable AI/ML pipelines, LLM fine tuning processes, developer tooling, repeatability, monitoring, governance and deployment capabilities. The product(s) must be actively marketed as providing machine learning and large language operations functionality.
